They are also equipped with special hi-tech backpacks called "pup packs" that contain tools relating to the pups' jobs. They all reside in doghouses that transform into customized vehicles, or "pupmobiles", for their missions. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on emergency services professions, such as a firefighter, a police officer, and an aviation pilot. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay and surrounding areas. The series focuses on a young boy named Ryder who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs that call themselves the PAW Patrol. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 12, 2013. TVO first ran previews of the show in August 2013. In Canada, the series is primarily broadcast on TVOntario as part of the TVOKids programing block. The egg tosses to Marshall and Cap'n Turbot (like Everest, he never appeared in the Season 1-2 sequence) sees a baby pteranodon. The pteranodon and Skye's helicopter fly. Marshall has a big problem with a child, who is on the cliff while holding a egg. Ryder uses a motorcycle along with the pups, taking us all places. ![]() The pups pose, jump up, slide and hop on their half doghouse-vehicles. Transition to bones, Ryder points the emblem. ![]() The pups (along with Everest) are in a pitch and playing soccer, glowing their emblems on their collars. The remote clicks and the monitor shows all of pups' emblems. The sequence starts with a view of Adventure Bay, zooms in with The Lookout where the pups enter in. ![]()
